Fundraising to support young adults through their grief and mental health. While there are many charities out there, support is often out-of-touch, inaccessible, and unrepresentative. We are raising funds for two grass-root organisations:
The Student Grief Network is led by students and recent grads who have had first-hand experience of loss. We work to soften the impact of grief for students by working towards more nuanced, compassionate understandings of grief and providing a range of support - from staff training and online resources, to creative projects and events.
Hosting almost 30 free peer support meetings per month, The New Normal provides dedicated spaces for complicated grief, black and brown grief, queer grief, and partner loss, as well as more general mental health spaces. They aim to connect people who have similar experiences of grief and trauma in a space where they can speak openly and honestly.
We work in close partnership, including hosting our regular Student Good Grief groups. All proceeds will be split to continue providing high quality, accessible support that responds to the needs our communities.
