Support The Rocketship As We Move To Our New Shop

Aim: The Rocketship Bookshop is boldly going to a new location in Salisbury, please support us during the transition

The Rocketship Bookshop opened in February 2020 in a beautiful and historic building in the centre of the city. The shop was created to inspire and encourage children, young people and families to discover their love of reading, and over the last five years we've been very lucky to be a part of so many people's reading lives, both locally and nationally. We take a lot of pride in the curation of our stock and we always aim to introduce our customers to new authors and illustrators, in fact it is our great passion and we believe that shops like ours will become even more vital in the next few years.

So, we need to do whatever it takes to continue and we are taking a bold new step by moving premises. A brilliant opportunity to become part of the trading community at The Cross Keys Shopping Centre in Salisbury has arrived and we can't wait to open the doors to our new shop for our existing customers and hopefully some new families too.

Saying goodbye to our current premises will be hard as we, and so many of our customers, have such fond memories of this building and we're just so glad that we have been able create even more memories here for the younger generations.

But, moving shops is a tricky business and we are hoping that our customers will be happy to offer us a little support for the days when we won't be able to trade and help us with a few of the expenses that will allow us to start the next chapter of our business in very good health.
