Support The Moon Cardiff's Staff

I have some good news for those of you who have donated in hopes to help the ex-staff at The Moon.

Today I paid the first payments to staff.

Crowdfunder allowed us to take a first payment early as we were running this campaign as "keep what you raise". This means that staff have now received much needed help earlier than expected.

I'd like to thank in particular three recent contributors -

Dim Parcio / The Dteez / Kinellmun - three bands who contributed the money they raised at a gig in Fuel. 

Richard Jackson - who donated proceeds from his JacksorJacksor 'Moondogs' live album.

Tom Pilkington - donated merch sales from a show that was meant to be held at The Moon.

These contributions mean so much to us. As we well know, for musicians it's hard to make money from your art! To contribute that to us means so much, and we are so grateful that you thought to help us in this way.

Last week I shared that I've put together an album in support of the Crowdfunder. Money raised from this album already was included in the first payments to staff. If you've already contributed, please do not feel you need to buy the album of course (it may be available in other formats to contributors when I can work out how!) but feel free to share it around or get it if you're feeling extra generous.
