Support The Moon Cardiff's Staff

It's now been a week since we were given the news of closure, and I can't thank you all enough for all your incredibly generous donations to this crowdfunder. As of today, we're sitting at £6600, and slowly creeping up to that goal. I'd like to remind you all that every penny raised will go towards the staff that have lost their jobs get through the Christmas period.

I'd like to personally thank Joe at Clwb Ifor Bach, Ethan at Tiny Rebel, Hunter & Dave at Paradise Garden, Lewis at Porter's, Rob & Dan at Fuel and Coco at Barbara's for being so supportive to our staff during this difficult time, you're all amazing.

I'd also like to thank The Music Venue Trust for their support both to the venue and us as staff by sharing the crowd funder, and to Adam Walton for his kind words the other night, a legend of the scene.

Personally, I still don't believe this news has truly set in for us, what was such an integral part of our lives has been taken away. As a young promoter, The Moon has helped me grow both my skills and my passion to work in the live music industry, and when something like this happens it really does chip away at that passion, and leave yourself pondering the future.
