Support the GB Para Reining team

Aim

Please support us in raising the essential funds required to get a GB Para Reining Team competing, both in the UK and Internationally

Please help us to raise the essential funds needed to enable a British Para Reining Team to compete this 2020 season. 

The funding is needed in order to enable the riders to qualify at home events and then cross the channel to compete against some of the best Para Reining riders on the international circuit. The funds raised will support the riders to take part as both individuals and will facilitate the formation of a GB team; sadly this was not possible last year due to a lack of appropriate rider availability, so it would be brilliant if we could get the team out there to fly the flag for the UK this summer.

In addition to supporting the athletes and team in achieving their goal’s and with a touch of good luck, to bring back some medals. The formation of a competing team would also help to raise the profile of Reining for athletes with impairments within the UK and across Europe. Para Reining is an emerging sport and therefore, is sadly not funded at this time.

The ability to promote British Reining and their support of Para riders will also hopefully be beneficial in inspiring future athletes with disabilities to consider taking up or trialing this emerging discipline. This would enable the Para Reining community to expand and grow and in the long term potentially generate further successes and exposure for team GB

Our Athletes have already overcome many challenges in life living with various health conditions and impairments in order to get in to the saddle and now they are ready to get out there and compete it would be a great shame if they were unable to do so due to funding restrictions.

As a result we would really appreciate anything that anyone can spare to donate in order to try to get these athletes, horses and their support staff team out there competing. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for your support for Para Reining.
