Help us cover costs for our meetings, actions and campaigns!
The Dyke Project is a grassroots collective of trans and cis dykes, organising against transphobia and other forms of fascism. We formed in March 2023 to resist the weaponisation of lesbian identity by TERFs in the UK. Since then we've challenged Zionist pinkwashing narratives through an ad hack, disrupted a conversion therapy conference and a TERF panel event, protested the Cass Review and the Supreme Court ruling, organised a phone blockade targetting Wes Streeting, picketed the Women and Equalities cabinet office and joined our comrades across multiple movements to fight for feminist and trans liberation and Palestinian freedom.
None of our members are paid for our work, and we don't receive any external funding. We're raising funds to cover basic costs - everything from food and travel to meetings so that there are no financial barriers to participation, to materials for protests and actions, to booking spaces for open meetings, to printing leaflets and posters, to supporting our members and other comrades after arrests.
We know that these are difficult times for many of us - rising rents, underfunded and hostile healthcare services, immigration costs, widespread arrests and more are putting many of us under financial strain. There is no pressure to donate to this crowdfunder, but if you can spare a fiver it would go a long way, and it's a great way to support our work!
