Support Suki10c Through The Covid-19 Crisis

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for everyone. When things eventually return to a semblance of normality you will certainly want to be able to go out and enjoy your night time adventures in the same way you used to before the pandemic. 

Now is the time when we need you to help us survive as a venue. Quite literally overnight 100% of our income stream vanished. We are now at a point where we do not know how long we will be able to survive. Because our rateable value falls below the £15000 threshold we do not qualify for the government grant of £25k which is supposed to be specifically for the hospitality industry businesses affected by closure. Our insurers have refused to pay out for Business Interruption, which we have paid premiums to cover for years, on the basis that there has to be an outbreak actually on the premises, regardless of what the government says. Yes, we will qualify for the smaller £10k grant but that will not last long. 

On Saturday 24th October, we plan to hold an event in celebration of all of YOU amazing people. The idea being, if we have made it that far, then it's because everybody has come together and made it happen!

For a minimum £15 pledge we are offering you:

- Entry to the event
- 2 drinks (Beers / Spirit & mixer)

For a £20 pledge:

- Entry to the event
- 2 drinks (Beers / Spirit & mixer)
- Your name added to ''The Peoples Venue'' wall.

If you are in a position where you can donate more then we once again thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The Peoples Venue Wall will be a feature wall and will have the names of everybody that pledges money to help Suki10c to survive this.

If there are more supporters than our capacity we will organise a second event too in order to accommodate everyone. 

If the lockdown period goes beyond that date then we will reschedule for another day. 

We want to say thank you now to every single one of you who have supported us over the last 8 years. This venue is here because you have all come through our doors and had a bloody good time. Let's hope that we can continue to do just that.
