About This Campaign
This campaign is set up so you can help us to get together again on the dance floor in re-opening days. “pay-it-forward” means pay for your classes, social dancing in advance and help getting back to our beloved Tango dance after a year of pause and lock downs!
For the next few weeks the Mayor of London will part match the funds we raise, providing an important life-saving for our school and Milonga. This is why your contribution is even more valuable.
Vouchers can be used for our group classes, private classes, workshops, social dancing and any special events we organise.
How We Will Use The Funds
Your support will help us meeting venue rent costs in times where limited numbers of participants and restrictions are imposed and when sessions are paid in advance and have to be canceled due to pandemic restrictions.
But mainly we hope to use the funds to create and present more exciting new projects helping Argentine tango flourish in London after the pandemic.

Why Support Raquel Tango Academy
Since 2012, Raquel Tango Academy has been one of London's most vibrant tango schools and has also created a thriving community of people who share a passion for tango. Operating in Central London selected venues - Shoreditch, the City, Farringdon, Oxford st., Covent Garden, and in latest years in Marylebone.
To enrich the tango experience, Raquel hosts the finest guest Tango artists, internationally acclaimed, dancers and musicians.
Raquel organises weekly Social Dancing (Milonga) "La Divina" and "Mercer in the City" as well as special events and Tango holidays. The guiding concept is to create a warm welcoming relaxed atmosphere to help the community grow, get together and exchange the love for Tango.
Raquel's unique teaching methods have helped many people of all ages to improve and become confident social dancers and performers fulfilling dreams and enjoying a versatile exciting Tango journey.
Raquel Tango Academy is the only unique school in London developing constructive courses for women learning to lead through empowering women project.
