Help indigenous healers get a safe boat to reach remote communities, deliver care, and protect lives.
My dear friends,
I’m raising funds for two very special people in the Amazon, Brazil - Maná and Ratsuhá, traditional healers and respected members of the Madhá community who have dedicated their lives to helping others.
They serve remote communities where access to healthcare is extremely limited. Maná is a traditional healer with many years of ancestral knowledge, while Ratsuhá is an experienced midwife who has supported over 2,800 births. Their work has touched thousands of lives, including my own and those of people I know personally.
They also care for their large extended family, including around 50 grandchildren.
Today, they urgently need a larger, faster and more reliable boat.
Their work often requires long journeys through remote areas of the Amazon. Increasingly severe flooding has made these journeys more difficult and dangerous, while their current boat is small, unreliable and vulnerable to theft.
A better boat would mean safer journeys, faster access to remote communities and the ability to continue providing vital care when people need it most.
For me, this is about supporting two extraordinary people who have given so much to others, and helping them continue work that is so important and deeply meaningful to their community.
If you feel able to help, any contribution would mean a great deal. You can also join a fundraiser event or purchase a 1:1 healing session below. And if you can't donate, simply sharing the fundraiser could help us reach someone who can.
Thank you for reading, and for any support you can offer. 🙏
