Help us revive the historic Octagon Brewery! Join us in building a Modern Taproom that celebrates its legacy and crafts amazing Beers

We Are Bulletproof Brewing 

Our story started with two friends and a dream in a 10ft x 12ft garden shed —  small, but still a Fully Licensed Lager Brewery. From there, we built a Mobile Bar in an old horse box, traveling to festivals and events, sharing our passion for Independent craft beer with anyone who’d listen. Then came our first permanent home, an old charity shop on Mutley Plain, Plymouth that we Transformed into a Thriving Bar.

Now, We’re Ready for the Next Big Leap!

We’ve taken on the Historic Octagon Brewery just off Union Street, Plymouth. This is a 6,000 square-foot space that dates back to 1861, we aim to build a modern "Grain to Glass" Brewery and Taproom that honours its heritage. We’ve already purchased Fully Automated 15HL brewing equipment, set to arrive on December 16th, but we need your help to complete the project to bring this incredible space to life.

With your pledges, we hope to achieve the following :

• Construction of the bar area
• Final finishes on the original brewery floor
• Purchase of the taproom furniture
• Installation of WCs
• Brewery drainage installation
• Working Capital

For the past nine years, Connor and Paddy have poured everything into Bulletproof Brewing. Connor, with 15 years in hospitality, is the face of our taproom, with experience in Pubs, Restaurants, and Event Venues. Paddy, our Head Brewer, is the Mad Scientist behind our Lagers. Known for his creative approach, Paddy’s arguably the best brewer in the country… without a Brewery — until now. Together, they make the perfect team, ready to revive the Octagon and share something truly special.
