Support Northamptons Poliltical Prisoners

Aim
Support four political prisoners from Northampton and make their lives inside prison easier.
Four political prisoners from Northampton are currently in prison on remand for suspected involvement in environmental activism. With the increase in police and criminal justice powers against peaceful protest, we are seeing increasing numbers of activists being given prison sentences or lengthy time on remand.
Prison has a huge financial burden on people, from not being able to earn money, and expensive telephone calls and canteen supplies. Activists may struggle to keep up with other costs outside of prison, such as housing costs. This crowdfunder will aim to support the 4 Northampton prisoners, Kerin, Al, Ian, and Daniel.
Funds raised contribute to (but not exclusively):
- Surety money to help achieve bail, this could be as much as £5000.
- Supporting essential costs such as housing costs while in prison.
- Sending books or other items that make life in prison easier.
- Commissary money for phone credit, stamps, stationery or food items on the prison food canteen list. With the food in prison being often dire, this top-up food can ensure an activist stays healthy while in prison.
Any unused money will be given to Rebels in Prison support.
