Having been selected and trained as a community "Change Maker" under the youth empowerment organization\Butterfly Project (Cohort 5) since 2018, I have demonstrated a profound commitment to regional development through a number of projects and inclusive education. This professional qualification will serve as the strategic vehicle required to scale my grassroots interventions, and establish institutional frameworks to provide equal justice to both the poor and the oppressed

Financially, I will cater for my feeding costs, transport to campus and other necessary requirements for a university student. But i will need £450 per semester which will cover for my tuition fees and Hostel,  It should also be noted that in order for me to complete academic focus and institutional compliance over the 4 years duration of the undergraduate program of which am required to have a total funding package of £3600

BIOGRAPHICAL PROFILE & TRIUMPH OVER THE YEARS

Early Life and Socioeconomic Context I was raised in Layibi, situated within the Gulu District a region heavily impacted by historical geopolitical instability and lingering socioeconomic fractures. My early childhood development was severely complicated by severe hardship and the unfortunate death of my father, a systemic crisis that ultimately forced my mother to raise me as a single parent under conditions of extreme financial precarity. Despite the structural absence of paternal economic support and the localized vulnerabilities characteristic of Layibi, I exhibited exceptional academic resilience and community leadership from an early age.

The Intervention of the Butterfly Project In 2018, my innate leadership trajectory was formalized when i was successfully recruited into Cohort 5 of the Butterfly Project. This initiative, dedicated to identifying and nurturing marginalized youth with the potential to become societal change agents, provided the critical holistic framework that altered my life trajectory. Through the project's mentorship, structural support, and emphasis on social entrepreneurship, I successfully navigated the rigorous demands of both Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level) education.

Academic Milestones my performance at the Advanced Level demonstrated my capacity for higher-tier Legal studies. Having passed my national examinations with good points fitting university entrance criteria, I secured a highly competitive slot at Uganda Pentecostal University, a premier private institution in central Uganda. My selection of Law course as a core area of specialization is a deliberate, strategic response to the corrupt and unequal justice being

My aim is to plant 1000 trees in my home area as I educate people about the importance of trees and to create awareness of global warming. At the moment I have successfully planted 500 trees together with the community which are growing steadily. I have been able to achieve this through door to door lecture and I have also made it as far as going to local saving groups educating people about the importance of trees and creating awareness of global warming

The suffering and the deteriorating world brings so much pain to me, and that’s why I have decided to step forward and bring a positive change before more is destroyed

2 YOUNG PIONEERS OF CHANGE

I have established this project in February 2026 aiming at tackling societal issues and bring positive change to the community. This project has been a clear channel in reducing societal problems like Domestic violence, early pregnancy, alcoholism and school dropout

I have successfully made visits to couples of schools around Omoro District passing out the messages aiming to fight social problems in the community  through playing educational drama with the kids and presenting to the local community 1784631960_1784631958172.jpeg
