We need your support to take Layer to the next level so we can design and manufacture awesome outdoor and sportswear

About Us
We're Dan & Steph, we met during the pandemic both wanting more from life than the typical 9-5. We both love travel and adventure which led us to create The Adventure Project, a business based around adventure travel and getting more people exploring the world through sport. This idea led us to creating clothing to support our adventures. We set up a home office and workshop and set about designing and printing clothing. Whilst we created some great quality casual wear, we quickly realised that we couldn't source the best technical products that would really take us to the next level.

What’s the big idea?
We’ve had some incredible support over the last 12 months that has really helped us push Layer further than we ever thought it would this early on. We are now asking for some help to take Layer to the next level and begin to realise our dreams even more.

We want to design and manufacture technical outdoor and sportswear that we simply cannot make from home. This means we need raise funds to meet the minimum order quantities of our selected manufacturers. We are really excited about some of the projects we have lined up and believe it will add a whole new dimension to our brand.

Why do this now?
We feel it’s important that we look forward to ensure our brand continues to grow. As we currently operate the business from home we are limited with the amount of space we can dedicate to creating all of our products here.

Whilst we will continue to make products from home we want to design and create specialist outdoor products that are manufactured to the highest quality. Fundamentally, the more quality products we produce and sell, the more sustainable Layer can be into the future.

Why Crowdfund?
This is our first time crowdfunding and achieving a £6K target is a huge deal for us. Being able to achieve this Crowdfunder with the help and support of our family, friends and customers would be awesome and very much in the manner of how we want Layer to be. We also feel our unique rewards are a great way of paying back our huge appreciation for your help to take us to the next level.
