Aim
To support those workers at the The Refuge/Kimpton Clocktower Hotel taking historic strike action
Workers at the iconic Manchester Kimpton Clocktower Hotel are fighting for better working conditions and trade union recognition, yet so far the employer has refused to engage in meaningful dialogue with workers - ignoring the collective nature of their grievance - and even unfairly dismissing leaders.
After weeks of trying to negotiate with IHG in good faith, it is quite clear they have no intention of resolving this dispute so workers have been left with no option but to take historic strike action - the first hospitality strike in the North West for a generation.
Our message to IHG Senior Management is simple: recognise our union, give these workers the right they deserve to negotiate their own pay and conditions and reinstate the workers you have victimised!
