Six years ago, a group of ordinary Scots had enough of waiting for independence to happen – so we built the Independence for Scotland Party (ISP) from the ground up. We started the push for a 2021 Holyrood plebiscite, and we’re full steam ahead for a plebiscite election on 7th May 2026 to finally get that pro-Indy majority in Holyrood.
We are so much more than a single issue party ,our volunteers are working daily to shape a fairer Scotland for everyone.
But here’s the truth, good will only gets you so far. We’ve already got Six incredible candidates ready to go to Holyrood – but each needs a £500 deposit plus at least £5000 for their leaflets and postage to reach voters.
We’ve always been ahead of the curve , first on plebiscite elections, the only party fighting for direct democracy , Minimum Income Guarantee , no Freeports / investment zones , protecting women and children rights .
