On the 25th April 2021 we'd raised £105 with 3 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. Together we can help them.
Indian Gourmet is a much-loved Indian restaurant which opened it's doors to the public in July 2020, during the middle of the pandemic.
Our restaurant is one of hundreds currently at risk of closure because of the ongoing impact of Covid-19. We launched the restaurant in the middle of the pandemic. Sadly due to this timing we couldn't qualify most of the Government's support including furlough. When we opened in July, we had no idea that the pandemic will continue to cause economic uncertainty to this date. Moreover, we're still continuing to pay our commercial rent while closed.
Indian Gourmet is a family-run venture & we pride ourselves in freshly cooked authentic home-style appetizing, wholesome and real Indian food from different part of India and Indian Sub-Continent.
Your donations will be used to cover the cost of rent for the next few months & fill the shortfall between the Government support, and our actual monthly outgoings when closed.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
