Urgent Appeal for Help
My name is Hashem, born in 2001. I once lived a simple and peaceful life, full of stability and gratitude. But the war changed everything in an instant and left nothing of the life I once knew.
At the beginning of the war, I lost my cousin, who was like an older brother to me. Only five days later, our area was invaded, and I was forced to flee my home to my aunt’s house in search of safety. However, safety did not exist anywhere.
My aunt’s home was later bombed. Several family members were killed, and her 18-year-old daughter lost her left leg. My brothers were also injured. Even though my brother’s injury was considered minor, the pain and shock were overwhelming for all of us.
After that, we were displaced again to UNRWA schools, which were meant to be places of safety, but instead became places of fear, overcrowding, and constant uncertainty. Each day was harder than the one before.
The most devastating moment came when my family home was directly targeted. I lost my mother, my father, and my three younger brothers. From that moment, my life completely stopped. Only my two brothers and I remain. Our world was shattered beyond repair.
During this time, we have also lived under extremely harsh conditions, struggling simply to survive. There were days without food or clean water. At times, we had to risk our lives just to find basic necessities, walking through dangerous areas where safety did not exist.
Today, I am homeless, without shelter, and without any place to start again.
I am asking for your kindness and support. Any help, no matter how small, can give me and my brothers a chance to survive, rebuild our lives, and begin again after unimaginable loss.
