Support Green voices in Trafford in 2024!

In 2024, we aim to raise £3,000 so we can win a new council seat in Bowdon, defend two existing seats in Altrincham and Hale, and fight hard in the upcoming General Election. Our candidates all need your support to get over the line and build towards our goal to become the main opposition on Trafford council.
Our dedicated campaigners are speaking up on Green issues in Trafford all year round. Residents in Altrincham and Hale are now represented by complete teams of Green Party councillors. We gained two more seats from the Conservatives last May, and were just a few hundred votes short of winning all 3 seats in Bowdon. This would have meant overtaking the Tories as the main opposition on the council.
Having come so very close to winning Bowdon in 2023, Green candidate Bridget Green needs your help to break through in 2024.

Two sitting Green councillors are also up for re-election this year, Michael Welton in Altrincham and Owain Sutton in Hale.
We also need to be ready for a General Election in 2024 to platform green issues and values in this important conversation. Your Green Party candidates in Trafford are Geraldine Coggins in Altrincham and Sale West, and Dan Jerrome in Stretford and Urmston. It costs £500 just to stand a Green Party candidate and give residents the chance to vote for what they believe in.
But election campaigns cost money. As ethically funded Greens, we are not bank-rolled by big corporations or trade unions. We rely on individual donations from people like you.
Your support can get us over the winning line. Every £100 will gift a vital extra leaflet for almost 5,000 households. £20 gifts over 1,000 calling cards to residents, with £10 an extra 30 posters!
Please donate generously if you possibly can and share far and wide with friends and family!
Any donations not spent in this campaign will be used to fund future Green Party election campaigns in Trafford. By making a donation you confirm that you are eligible to make political donations in the UK, and that this donation is not made for or on behalf of any other person. All donations received are subject to the regulations of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
