Aim

Help support Golden Time (and Other Behavioural Management Strategies) Kate Ireland's Theatre Debut at the fringe!!

BLETHEREN, we are heading up to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the whole month of August and need your help!

We are taking up Kate's debut theatre piece and our first show as a production house, Golden Time (and Other Behavioural Management Strategies) to The Pleasance Theatre this August! The show is a love letter to those who fall outside the prescribed codes of normality, an exploration of hyper-productivity, neurodivergence, burnout and trying to exist in a culture where our time is currency.

The fringe, as some of you may know, is expensive and as independent artists with no funding backing behind us we need your help to reduce our costs to ultimately support our artists receiving a healthy wage (aka nice profit share). The more money we raise the more we can support our team. We understand money is tight at the moment but if you have the means to  donate the price of a pint/coffee (£5) that would make a huge difference to us!

Your donations will go towards supporting our marketing (flyers/posters costs), venue hire costs, PR support & travel -- ultimately supporting our group of epic early-career artists to receive a higher profit split! Thank you so much for your support in advance xxx

SHOW SUMMARY:

Devised and developed through Kate’s work in schools and as a neuroinclusivity advocate, Kate wants to tell the audience about 'Golden Time' and when she started thinking about it again as an adult. Ironically, she has terrible time management and needs your help to stay on track...

Blending interactive performance, spoken word and comedy, join Kate as she navigates the struggles in both her teaching and personal life.

EDINBURGH FRINGE DETAILS:

ABOUT BLETHER: ‘Blether’ are a community arts collective inspired by and dedicated to the Scottish verb ‘blether’ -- talking in a long-winded way without making sense. Blether is a space for everyone dedicated to storytelling, community and subversive joy. Established in 2022 and found by Kate Ireland (Artistic Director), we create events, writing workshops and theatre that are pure, warm, weird and tender based in MCR and across the UK (including London and Glasgow).
