Help our friend Peggy get to the 2024 World Aquathlon Championship in Australia
Athletes like Peggy get no public funding at all despite representing their country.
The actual cost of getting Peggy to the World Aquathlon Championship will be in the region of £3,000 to £4,000, with flights, entry fees, insurance and accommodation etc. which is why we're reaching out to you today with an exciting opportunity to support our friend Peggy Keenor-Crome in her quest to represent Great Britain at the 2024 World Aquathlon Championship in Australia!
Peggy's journey began in the early 80s when at the age of 40, she began training to run marathons and then moved on to triathlons. In those days women competitors were few and far between. Today, at the age of 80, Peggy is the most decorated, age group female in Great Britain and the World
Peggy has dedicated countless hours to training and honing her skills in swimming and running, and her hard work has paid off with a well-deserved spot in this prestigious championship. However, the journey to Australia comes with significant costs, including travel expenses, registration fees, and accommodation.
That's where you come in! Your generous contribution can make all the difference in helping Peggy achieve her dream of competing on the world stage again. Every donation counts, whether it's £1, £5, or £50. Your support will not only help cover the logistical expenses but also serve as a powerful symbol of our community's belief in Peggy's talent and determination.
Together, let's get behind Peggy and show her that she has a team of supporters cheering her on every step of the way.
Join us in making Peggy's journey to the 2024 World Aquathlon Championship a reality. Your generosity will have a ripple effect, inspiring others to chase their dreams.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
