Aim
Support the Year 2 Pupils at Chestnuts Primary School in their sponsored run!
The children at Chestnuts Primary School are going to be taking part in the London Schools Mini Marathon between Monday 20th April and Friday 24th April 2026.
Year 2 will be taking part at 1pm on Friday 24th April in Chestnuts Park. Parents are welcome to come along, join in or cheer them on!
The London Schools Mini Marathon is a city wide event in which children run, jog, walk or wheel 2.6 miles either all in one go or over a number of days. Our children will be joining over a million children who have taken part since 2020.
We hope you will sponsor the children for taking part in such an amazing but challenging event! Each year group are being invited to work together to fundraise and every year group which reaches their fundraising goal will be treated to ice lollies in school from the PSA as a thank you!
The PSA will be using the money raised from sponsorship to provide improved sports facilities at school including equipment for both netball and table tennis.
