On the 25th February 2021 we'd raised £4,020 with 30 supporters in 120 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

I have a well established local business running sewing classes in my garden studio as well as one to one in client’s homes. I also service and repair sewing machines and make bespoke quilts. I’m heavily involved in the local art and maker community and have seen a devastating effect on so many local businesses. I can’t trade safely in the same way as before, instead of 5 students I can only teach 2 and that was really only in the summer months. Now I’m shut again. There has been a huge downturn in business and I’m worried about making it through the winter/ spring. I want to sell vouchers for sewing classes and bespoke quilts to be redeemed at a later date to help my cash flow now and give people something to look forward to as well.
