Help towards the cost of a superhero party

Story

Our story is about our beautiful grandson Dylan who is 5 years old. Dylan and his twin brother have lived with us since they were born, as they can not live with their birth parents, so we have been raising them as our own along side my now 17yr old son.

Both boys have special educational needs and sadly Dylan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in June 2017. News that devestated our lives and the boys. He spent 5 weeks in hospital having intense chemo treatment, lumba punctures and bone marrow aspirates.

We are now 5 months into his treatment, which has been a real struggle for him at times, with another 3 years to go on maintenace treatment.

Dylan was so poorly for his birthday in August this year the boys went without a party, and we promised them one when he was feeling a little better. We hate the he and his twin brother are missing out on so much of their little lives.

We have decided to put on a supero fundraiser party hosted by dylan and his brother, (as thats what they both are) so we can give something back to the huge support network that is helping him and our family.

We are looking to raise part of the initial costs to organise this party e.g room hire, dj, room dressing and catering costs.

Dylan wouldnt be where his is now without the care and love of Macmillan and RMCH and we now want to give as much back to them, and for the future children who find themselves in our situation.

Dylan has been our inspiration as no matter how hard things have got or how much it hurts, he has never complained once. Just keeps smiling.
