Let's get Bournemouth from ZERO to HERO!

Dear friends and supporters of our campaign, 

Well that's that done! We didn't raise quite as much as we had initially hoped for BUT... what we have raised is MORE THAN ENOUGH to get most (if not all) of our organic loose foods out of the plastic packaging (HURRAH!), so thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to each and every one of you for all your pledges, donations and general support.  

The final figure (given to me by Crowdfunder this morning) that we will take away from the campaign is £3214.48. This was calculated as follows :  £3494.00  (total raised) minus £174.70 (Crowdfunder fees) minus £58.23 (transaction fees) minus £46.59 (VAT) leaves the above total of £3214.48.  This along with the £200+ cash we have in the kitty in the shop plus any last minute donations will leave us around £3500 which really and truly, after only 5 weeks, is pretty darn fabulous!  

Once the funds have been deposited into our bank account (which Crowdfunder estimates will be in a week to ten days time), we will immediately place the order for the dispensers and all items offered in reward for PLEDGES will then be available to collect from Sunrise.  (Crowdfunder advises waiting until the payment process is complete before giving out any rewards.) As the current lead time is around 7-8 weeks for delivery of the dispensers it will be a little time before you get to see the evidence of your financial contribution however trust me when I say it's going ahead and the wait will be worth it in the end. (I may even get my ta-dah! moment after all!) 

Right, well, I think that's about it from me for now. Time to get some fresh air and sunshine and start visualising our new look organic loose food section...
