Three Peaks. One Community. Taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention and postvention
Three Peaks. One Community.
On September 26th, 27th and 28th, a team brought together through Sunrise Cornwall CIC will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge over three days, with one shared goal: to raise £6,000 so we can continue to support people across Cornwall affected by suicide loss.
Taking on the full Three Peaks Challenge are Elliott, Nick, Mand, Tobias, Cassi, Rob, Dani, Jo, Matt, Michaela, Matt, Toby, Ross, Kev and Samara, with Serena and Danielle joining the team for the final climb up Snowdon.
Just like everything we do, this challenge is about community. It's about encouraging one another, embracing the outdoors, finding moments of calm, and discovering what we're capable of when we move forward together.
Over three days, we'll climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon—the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales—supporting one another every step of the way.
It will be physically demanding, but we'll be doing what Sunrise Cornwall CIC does best: lifting each other up, celebrating every milestone, and proving that amazing things happen when people come together with a shared purpose. Every step we take will help raise vital funds so we can continue supporting adults across Cornwall who have been affected by suicide loss.
Through free, safe and welcoming events, workshops and wellbeing activities centred around creativity, music, art and connection, we create spaces where people can come together, feel understood and know they're not alone.
What will your donation help make possible?
The £6,000 we raise through this challenge will help us continue and develop Sunrise Cornwall CIC's programme of free, accessible events, workshops and wellbeing activities for adults affected by suicide loss across Cornwall.
It will help us create more opportunities for people to come together, try something new, get out and about, connect with others and discover ways to support their own wellbeing. It will also help us strengthen the community of trained facilitators and volunteers who make these activities possible, so that Sunrise Cornwall CIC can continue reaching people who might otherwise feel isolated or alone.
We want to be there for people not just in the immediate aftermath of suicide loss, but throughout the often long and complicated journey that follows. Every pound raised through the Three Peaks challenge will help us keep creating safe spaces where people can connect, feel understood and find hope.

All of our sessions are supported by trained facilitators with lived experience, offering compassionate, peer-led support and hope for those navigating grief.
Every donation—no matter the size—will help us continue creating welcoming, accessible spaces where people feel seen, supported and inspired.
Please donate if you can, share our fundraiser with your friends, family and colleagues, and follow our journey as we take on the Three Peaks.
Every step we climb is for our community, and every pound you give helps us continue making a difference across Cornwall.
Thank you for believing in Sunrise Cornwall CIC and our mission to reduce the ripple effect of suicide. Every donation, every share and every word of encouragement helps us continue bringing people together, offering hope, and reminding those affected by suicide loss that they don't have to face it alone.
Together, we're proving that when a community comes together, incredible things can happen. ![]()
