Can you help give people in Suffolk the option to vote for a Green voice?
It costs £500 to stand as an MP; £3,500 allows us stand in every seat in Suffolk. £10,000 would mean that we can also write to every Suffolk voter to tell them what a Green vote would mean.
No-one expected to have to be fighting an election in just a few weeks’ time, expecially after Theresa May specifically denied she would call an Election on six different occasions! But now that we are here we have to ensure Green issues are represented.
A vote for the Green Party is a vote for a bold, positive vision for the country. We want to make sure that as many people as possible in Suffolk are able to vote Green on June 8th.
That means urgently raising enough money for deposits for 7 parliamentary candidates at £500 per candidate.
We don’t accept money from unethical donors so we are asking donations from anyone who is registered to vote and who would like to see a Green Party candidate on the ballot paper on June 8th
We don’t have time on our side either. So please, if you can't donate anything, help us by sharing this site as widely as you can.
The Green Party are proud to run a candidate for every seat in Suffolk. Selected candidates are:
- South Suffolk - Robert Lindsay
- Bury St Edmunds - Helen Geake
- Central Suffolk and North Ipswich - Regan Scott
- Ipswich - Charlotte Armstrong
- Suffolk Coastal - Eamonn O'Nolan
- Waveney - Elfrede Brambley-Crawshaw
- West Suffolk - Donald Allwright
We are looking to raise £10,000. Your donation will go to the candidate standing where you live (donations from outside Suffolk will be split equally. If you would like your contribution to be used differently, please use the contact project box).
All money raised will be used to cover the costs of standing and to help spread the word about the Green message in the run-up to the election. We are extremely proud to be able to offer people the chance to vote for us but, as a grassroots party, we can't rely on non-doms and big business donations to clear the path to democracy for us.
By making a donation you confirm that you are eligible to make political donations in the UK, and that this donation is not made for or on behalf of any other person. All donations received are subject to the regulations of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000.
