We must beat Suella Braverman in Fareham and Waterlooville by replacing her with Gemma Furnivall, a hardworking, compassionate Labour MP.

by Dominic Martin in Fareham, Hampshire, United Kingdom

Suella Braverman must be defeated in Fareham and Waterlooville for the national and local benefit. Suella's divisive and dangerous rhetoric has no place in Parliament and British politics. This rhetoric, all for the benefit of her career, does nothing to give the people in Fareham and Waterlooville a dedicated local MP.

According to current polling, Labour is within 6% of sending Suella to an early retirement. To do this, Gemma Furnivall and Fareham and Waterlooville Labour Party need a big fund to take on this task. Across the country, safe Tory seats are swinging behind Labour due to big campaigns powered by crowdfunding campaigns like this.

Fareham and Waterlooville can be 2024's 'Portillo' moment and make our politics more compassionate, honest and professional. Britain needs more MPs who focus on their constituents, not their careers, and put the country above the party.

With Gemma Furnivall as the Labour candidate, Fareham and Waterlooville can vote for a local candidate with life experience. Gemma has dedicated her life to public service, working in the NHS, local authorities, prisons, and youth support. She is also a working mum of an autistic son and is battling MS. She truly is a fighter and is bringing that fight locally as a Borough councillor in Fareham.

Gemma is standing to be an MP because people deserve better than divisive and careerist politics. She needs the funds to deliver this local, community-led campaign to send Suella packing and give Fareham and Waterlooville the MP they deserve.
