Aim: Raising funds for Sheffield Green Party to allow us to campaign in Stocksbridge & Upper Don
As an ethical political party, the Greens do not get large donations from corporations or private individuals; we rely on the kindness and generosity of our members and supporters to raise funds. Sheffield Green Party (SGP) also see very little of the fees that our members pay, meaning we need to work far harder than organisations like ReformUK to finance our campaigns.
These campaigns tend to be very expensive; even running a very small, simple campaign with a single leaflet can cost upwards of £500. That's why we need your help.
The Stocksbridge and Upper Don by-election is likely to be hotly contested, with Reform expceted to do well. We reject their hateful rhetoric and populist policies, and want to stop them from winning.
From the recent local elections, we already know, where the Greens stand a candidate, we reduce Reform's chances of winning by a whopping 19%. So please give what you can to reduce those chances further.
Please note that any funds raised which are not used in Stocksbridge and Upper Don will go to funding SGP's ongoing costs and future events/campaigns; we are unable to segregate the funds we raise.
