Aim: Madaniya, Gmas Community Kitchen & SLN are fundraising to support Sudanese refugees in Egypt through Al Tafa’ul, a female-led charity
Madaniya, Gmas Community Kitchen and The Sudanese Legal Network are collaborating to support Sudanese refugees in Egypt through Al Tafa’ul, a Sudanese refugee women-led charity.
Our aim through this fundraiser is to provide essential resources such as food, medicine, shelter, clothing, and trauma therapy services to those in need.
Al Tafa’ul's dedicated team also focuses on assisting women who have suffered assault or pregnancy during their journey from Sudan, offering comprehensive care and support.
The humanitarian crisis in Sudan has led to widespread displacement, with millions internally displaced and over 2 million seeking refuge in neighboring countries, including more than 350,000 in Cairo, Egypt.
Charity Al Tafa’ul will facilitate the efficient purchase and distribution of aid in Egypt.
Notably, a donation of £20 can feed a family of six for 10 days, while £60 supports them for an entire month.
