We're a group of students that have written and composed a fantasy musical and are now bringing it to life. Help us achieve that goal!
The Tears of Nerakhis: the musical tells the story of Calanthe, a human girl who fell in love with the daughter of the god of the night. The story recounts the adventures of the human and the nymph as they become part of a divine conflict between the gods of men and nature. It merges the romantic genre with the genres of epic and tragedy, creating a modern myth based on a fantasy world. It’s a musical based on a fantasy book of the same name, The Tears of Nerakhis, published in Spain under the name Las Lágrimas de Nerakhis.
Our team of composers has spent the last two years adapting the story into music. The musical is fully sung-through and includes 21 musical numbers, converging in an epic tackling timeless themes of love, freedom and nature. Our dream is to be able to produce the musical and turn the songs into tracks that can be streamed from anywhere in the world, so that the music that we have been working so tirelessly in creating can be enjoyed by anyone. Our team is made up of Rafel Jaume, a seasoned composer trained in the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, and Tomeu Juan Fuster, a producer involved in the production of several albums in Spain. We have the talent, we have the experience and, most importantly, we have the passion to bring the music to a professional standards, but we need certain resources and tools to make it come to life. We would like to include you in the project by allowing you to help us acquire these resources. In exchange, you can also be a part of the creation of this unique, special project and be featured in the music and scoring!
