Motivated by Stuart Croft’s artistic ambition, his generosity and far-reaching influence, the Stuart Croft Foundation was established by the family and friends of the artist after his untimely death in 2015. The Foundation is determined in its mission to make accessible the artist's legacy and archive, to exhibit his moving-image works, and to provide awards for new moving-image productions, research, publications, and exhibitions. The Foundation was registered by the Charity Commission in September 2015 and officially launchedto the public with an event at Jerwood Space, London in October 2017.
