Aim
At present our playground is just tarmac. We wish to make our playground greener and inspire curiosity.
The children of Stroud Green Primary are amazing. They have missed out on so much throughout the pandemic yet they still keep on smiling and their resilience they have shown is a credit to them all. Our playground is dull and grey. We want to add colour and nature and softness to the environment.
By developing the playground to include a sensory garden we will be able to provide lunch time and after school gardening clubs. We have a willing army of parent and local community volunteers ready to build our garden when we source some funding. They will also help to maintain it.
Our vision is for children to know where food comes from and to develop a love for gardening and nature.
