Strengthen the ties between Scotland and Jamaica

Aim
We exist to say yes Scotland benefited from slavery in Jamaica but we want to make reparations through arts, education, friendship.
We need a little bit of money to sponsor the Jamaica Poetry Festival taking place in Jamaica on Sunday 9th August.
We span 3 countries with groups in Scotland, Jamaica and Canada. We are a real mix of Scots who live in or have lived in Jamaica and Jamaicans who live in or have lived in Scotland.
We are musicians, dancers, teachers, councillors, MPs, academics, activists, DJs, youth workers.
Everything we've done so far has been self funded. That includes:
* Providing Jamaican entertainment at festivals.
* Bringing Claudius England over from Jamaica to work with children in Scottish schools.
* Showing the BBC documentary (Slavery: Scotland's Shame) and hosting a Q&A panel with documentary maker David Hayman and our Graham Campbell.
Right now however we need to get some money together quickly because the Jamaican Poetry Festival is next weekend and it's their tenth anniversary. Covid 19 has affected their funding so we want to offer some sponsorship. For that we need £260. Anything we raise over that will help with putting together some educational materials for schools.
We will do bigger fundraising at a later date but this is something we'd love to be able to do for our friends in Jamaica, right now. Anything you can give will be very much appreciated.
