Strathspey Works - Grantown Remakery

Aim

To Fund a Community Association for assisting individuals to develop Work Skills through the refurbishment and resale of household goods.

We are providing Employment Skills Development, volunteering opportunities and support for Young People in difficulty with Transition from School to Further Education and Work, and in the future, Adults with a Disability or Mental Ill-Health, supporting all in their journey to recovery and fulfilment of their personal goals. We will do this through the provision of an alternative to landfill disposal by repairing, upgrading, recycling and reselling of goods through a Community based system. 

While we have received a small lottery grant we require further funds to progress the project and achieve our long term aims - helping those individuals who find it difficult for a range of reasons to get closer to the workplace and achieve their aspirations.
