St Pauls Carnival

Aim

St Pauls Carnival represents the best of African Caribbean culture, as well as the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of Bristol.

This year's Carnival will take place on Saturday 6th July

St Pauls Carnival is a free event put on by the community for the community. It's enjoyed by 100,000 people each year. To put on this event we need to raise over £500,000. This year's event is short of funds. To make sure Bristol doesn't loose this iconic community event and it goes ahead as planned, we need your support to help fund:

• The creation of an inspiring event that celebrates the best of African Caribbean culture and the diversity, creativity and vibrancy of Bristol.
• An exciting programme working with 16 local schools who take part in costume making, dance and drumming workshops.
• Ensuring the event is safe and accessible for everyone.
• Ensuring the area is left clean after the event for the local community.

This year we have support from Arts Council England, Bristol City Council, Corporate sponsors and all those who trade at the event but still have more to raise.

The Rewards

For a £10 donation we will send you a Carnival wristband.

For a £25 donation we will send you a Carnival wristband and t-shirt in your choice of colour and size. Your name will also appear on the website.

For a £50 donation we will send you a limited edition Carnival t-shirt and A4 print by graffiti artist Hazardone. There are only 100 of these available. We will also send you a wristband and your name on the website.

For a £250 donation you and a guest will join us at our VIP Carnival brunch on Saturday 6th July. You will both receive a Carnival t-shirt, wristband and your name on the website.

For a £1,000 donation you will become a Friend of Carnival and enjoy invitations to events all year round, including the VIP Carnival brunch. Your name will also appear in the program and online and you will receive a full merchandise pack.

This project successfully funded on 9th July 2019
