The Prizes
The main prize is a week's stay for two in our exclusive Artist Apartment. This lovingly restored one bedroom cottage is used for artist residencies and guest visitors, and is not available through our usual holiday rentals with Forever Cornwall. This special accommodation is set to one side of our main site in the beautiful surroundings of Kestle Barton farmstead – just above Frenchman’s Creek with Helford Village in the other direction. You will arrive to a welcome basket of local goodies and fresh flowers; and your stay includes daily access to the gallery, visitor's garden and fresh herbs and vegetables from our kitchen garden.
We are also offering 4 x limited edition prints of the surrounding landscape from Kestle Barton by Mike McInnerney: 2 of 'Path to Orchard Lane' and 2 of 'Kestle Path am'. (Paper size 42 x 59.4 cm; Image size 38 x 54.4cm)
Mike McInnerney spent several weeks in 2010, the first summer we opened to the public, painting his tree portraits on the footpaths around Kestle Barton; many followed him and admired the series of work he made. The following year two of the much loved original paintings were made available as limited edition of 100 lithographic prints.

Help us make sure children in one of the UK’s most remote regions get a day like that too – with their very own best school trip ever.
Described by one of the local teachers as having “an impact… that is not limited to the day itself but spreads across the year and years afterwards”, Story Days gives local children an opportunity that’s hard to come by where they live, at a time when rural communities really need some positive energy and support.
