Storeys Football Club is one of the oldest amateur sports clubs in the area of Lancaster. Originating as a works team from the world famous Storey Bros of Lancaster, our playing history can be traced back as far as 1887. In recent years the club has gone from strength to strength, with developments on and off the pitch. We have over 200 active members across all of our age groups, from boys and girls as young as 4 years old right the way up to senior players.

We had a very successful crowdfunding campaign in 2021, which was supported by the Sport England Return to Play: Active Together funding scheme. With that money we have:
- Made further improvements to our clubhouse, with new lighting and flooring installed.
- Installed CCTV cameras to help improve security
- Installed security fencing around the clubhouse
- Completed pitch renovation work as well as purchasing new machinery to help maintain the pitches to the highest standards we can
- Renovated the outside of the building and replaced the old signage.

We would like to thank everyone for their help during that campaign, the improvements made couldn’t have been done without those supporters.
Whilst we have had the success of the previous crowdfunding campaign, we have also had another setback with the building suffering from significant storm damage at the end of 2021. The strong winds resulted in the roof being completely removed, with the inside of the building suffering from damage also. As disappointing as this was, the support from our committee, parents, players and local community was really heart-warming. We have quickly been able to complete the repairs and are now back on the road to recovery looking for other ways to progress!

... replace the pitch side fencing and an extension!
This is where our new crowd funding campaign comes in, even more ambitious than the last. We have had plans drawn up to extend our clubhouse and the local council has now approved these plans. This additional space would be used by all our members, giving us an area where people can socialise and stay dry in the inclement weather. It will also provide an additional source of income for the club, providing valuable funds that can will continue to be reinvested. All we need now is the money to make our dreams become a reality.

In addition to this we would like to replace the pitch side fencing for a safer and more durable type. The new fencing, as well as being more aesthetically pleasing, would reduce maintenance and provide easier access to the pitch.
Our commitment to our supporters and our members is that every penny raised will be spent on the extension. We hope that our previous campaign and the improvements made shows how shows how ambitious we are, and how committed we are to providing a quality experience for all our players.
Finally, a HUGE thank you to anyone who supports us... no matter how big or small the contribution, your donations are gratefully received.
