Aim
We are raising funds for the second year of tree planting for stonesfield and neighbouring villages. With signs for a tree walk.
We have been planting native trees around our village of stonesfield, our aim is to plant a tree for everyone in the village 1575 trees. we are community lead and the trees have to add value to the environment in its widest sense.
in the first year we have planted 823 trees. To see where we have planted them check out the Queens green canopy. There are some great pictures.
As part of the planting we are working with our neighbouring villages to extend the green corridors along the Evenlode river.
we are also developing details for a tree walk funds will go towards the signs.
We have completed funding for trees to be planted in Madagascar (one for everyone in the village)
