Help secure the future of the Festival for 2027 and beyond making sure arts, culture and heritage remains accessible for all to enjoy
From humble beginnings in 2008 the Stockton Heath Festival has grown into one of the most anticipated and loved annual events in our village - an established part of Stockton Heath life attracting 1000s into the area for a long weekend in July.
And it remains what it has always been at heart: a proud, independent charity, organised by a small core of dedicated volunteers each year - supported by Trustees, grants, sponsorship and donations from local businesses. Unfortunately year on year rising costs and reduced public funding support has been financially squeezing the Festival.
We can deliver a fantastic Festival in 2026 which is already fully funded - but the future for 2027 and beyond is in doubt unless we act now.
This Festival belongs to Stockton Heath - and so does its future
Behind the scenes is a core team of volunteers - people with big hearts, relentless tenacity, and a shared vision of what this Festival can be: a place where community grows, talent is celebrated, and local stories are given a stage.
But we can’t secure the Festival’s future alone.
So today, we’re turning to you - the people of Stockton Heath - to help secure the Festival’s future into 2027 and beyond.
If you’ve ever:
● danced to the music in the marquee
● discovered a local artist for the first time
● watched your child’s face light up at a performance
● enjoyed a summer evening of theatre under the sky
● or simply felt proud of the vibrant Village life…
…then please consider donating.
Collective community action
Our Crowdfunding target is £5,000. This figure bridges the gap between the 2024 and 2026 marquee hire price. Reaching this target would help secure the equipment for 2027. If we fall short of our fundraising target and are unable to deliver a 2027 Festival, please be assured: your donation will still contribute to this community event. Instead of securing infrastructure your contribution will support one or more events that stay true to the values of sharing arts, culture, and heritage - keeping the spirit of the Festival alive in the area.
Even if we sell every ticket this would only cover about 40% of the production cost of the Festival each year. Overheads have increased year on year but as the mission of the Festival remains to ensure activities are accessible to a wide audience there are many free events, particularly for children and families. Connected to this is making sure the Festival is bringing to the community a diverse range of art, culture and heritage events without prohibitive pricing for groups or families.
Because the Festival isn’t just something that happens in Stockton Heath. It’s something that happens because of Stockton Heath.
If you can spare a donation - thank you. And if you are unable to donate, sharing the appeal with friends, family, neighbours, and local groups helps more than you know.
Let’s make sure the Stockton Heath Festival 2026 is not the last.
Let’s keep the community spirit alive in Stockton Heath - together.
Donations are open from now to 31st July, 2pm. Thank you
