To raise £100,000 through crowd funding, which will allow us to unlock more than £2.2 million in additional funding.
Help unlock match funding for St Monans Auld Kirk!
For the past 3 years, St Monans Auld Kirk Enterprise (SMAKE) has been working hard to save St Monans Auld Kirk as a community asset, to reopen its doors and allow it to continue its role as the heart of the village. In December 2025, the purchase was completed, and the building is now safe from private sale. SMAKE has successfully secured funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) to plan essential repairs and upgrades to the Kirk, as well as developing Heritage activities and displays, so that it can be fully used and enjoyed by all.
In order to unlock this over £2.2 million of funding, we need your help!
We must raise an additional £100,000 of Matched Contributions, by February 2027.
We are busy applying to trusts and foundations, but the funders will also need to see strong support for the project, from individuals like you. By donating to our crowdfunder you will play a key part in making sure the Auld Kirk is set up for a bright future. Thank you!
SMAKE is a registered Charity in Scotland, no. SC054002.
