Help Us Keep St George’s Community Centre at the Heart of Our Community,

For over 50 years, St George’s has been far more than a place of worship. It has been a place where neighbours meet, families find support, community groups gather, and friendships are formed. In 2024, St George's transitioned into a community centre. Located in Tillydrone, a priority SIMD1 area, the centre has long been a safe, inclusive space where everyone is welcome and treated with dignity.

Now we have an opportunity to secure the future of this much‑loved building by bringing it into community ownership, led by long‑term local residents who have lived, worked and raised families here. Their deep understanding of the area ensures the centre reflects the needs, strengths and hopes of the people it serves.

Our vision is simple:

• Preserve this important local landmark.
• Sustain a vibrant, inclusive community hub open to everyone.
• Continue to provide space for youth activities, older people’s groups, wellbeing programmes, arts, education, local charities and groups.
• Protect an important part of Tillydrone’s heritage for future generations.
