I have lived in Churchdown in Gloucestershire for over 20 years, with my wife and 3 children.
I have tried to support our local community in a variety of ways since living in the village, including being a team manager for Churchdown Panthers FC for 10 years; and acting as a Governor for the Village Junior School for 13 years (including as Chair of Governors for the final 4 years). I have also been a Parish Councillor since 2020.
In May 2023, I had the privilege to be elected as one of the 3 the Liberal Democrat Councillors for Churchdown (St John's ward) to serve at Tewkesbury Borough Council; I also hold the lead portfolio role for Finance for the Borough.
As part of this role I sit on various committees and working groups, and always do my best to try to represent the interests of our community.

Since being elected, I have worked to try and improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists using the new cycle track; successfully campaigned for new bus stops; and helped a number of residents with their individual concerns and worries including issues such as flooding, abandoned cars, and highways issues.
Our team try really hard to support the community, and I am really keen to try and continue this work at County level, where I can seek to influence further on behalf of Churchdown and its community.

I already work with other Councillors across the county to seek to find new ways of enhancing services, and I believe that if I am elected that we can make a real difference to how the County Council runs our roads, public transport, and social services.
With the future of Local Government changing, it’s important to elect the right people to move forward. I am so looking forward to being part of the change and to represent our community.
