I'm running a half marathon to raise money for Pyramid, an arts charity supporting artists with learning disabilities and autism in Leeds
I am raising money for Pyramid.
Pyramid is an arts charity that supports more than 60 artists with learning disabilities and autism in Leeds and Yorkshire.
Like many charities, Pyramid has been facing financial difficulties due to increasing costs and a challenging funding environment. As a result, Pyramid is at a turning point and without additional funding, they face difficult decisions about their future programme. With your support, Pyramid can continue to provide life-changing opportunities for artists with learning disabilities and autism, champion their creativity, and use the power of art to drive greater inclusion and social change.

My challenge is the Robin Hood Half-marathon in Nottingham. I have never run a half-marathon before, so this is quite a challenge for me. Training has been fun at times: exploring my local woodlands, enjoying the tranquillity of the world at 5 a.m., and the highlight being a 17.42 km sunrise run around Paris (photos below). However, it has also been difficult, including injuries, trying to fit it in around work and family life, and I also suffered a severe case of heat exhaustion (turns out running in a heatwave is a bad idea!). So, please donate accordingly!
Anything you can contribute towards helping me achieve my target will be massively appreciated.
Thank you.
