The day Carol and I went to King's College when they were testing for Downs with our third child due to Carol's age is a day I will never forget The only time I really prepared myself for something that would potentially change all our lives. We discussed and agreed regardless that we would love that kid whatever. Truth is its only 20 odd years on that I look back and can appreciate how much help folks need to keep on loving.
