ABOUT STEPHANIE
Stephanie was born in our Uddingston and Bellshill constituency and lives in Hamilton with her partner, their three school aged kids, two cats and the family dog.
“My children are my biggest inspiration. I want our kids to grow up in a country where people and communities look after each other. Covid reminds us how much personal relationships matter and we must hold onto that.”
Stephanie’s belief that Scotland must become an independent country as soon as possible is unshakeable.
"Like so many SNP members I spent years voting Labour, until Indyref opened my eyes to the opportunity for a fairer, more equal independent Scotland. That vision motivates me every single day.”
An experienced local councillor in administration at South Lanarkshire, Stephanie is a member of the SNP administration and cabinet, designing policies that fight poverty, save lives, protect health and address climate change.
Stephanie previously delivered youth and adult education and employment projects to vulnerable groups across Lanarkshire and Glasgow.
“As your MSP I will learn from you, listen to you and speak up for you at Parliament. I will support regeneration work across our towns and villages – no area will be left out.”

The SNP is a grassroots movement of normal everyday people, living and working across Scotland. We don’t have deep pockets like other parties, but we have a burning ambition to make our country better, and a democratic right to hold Scotland’s future in Scotland’s hands!
