The event will take place on Saturday the 5th November at Oakies Park, Stanley.

The event will start at 5pm and offer a range of activities such as live music, Children’s characters, a fire eater, hot food and beverages.

The evening will culminate in a spectacular 22minutes display with high calibre fireworks fully choreographed to music. The 2016 theme will follow a children’s character’s theme and include topical theme tunes to films and television programmes.

Established in 2011, Stanley Events is a not for profit social enterprise. Set up by a group of local people the organisation has provided a wide range of events across the Stanley area, including Christmas Festivals, Music Events and an Annual Fireworks display. After Stanley Town Council voted against funding this years display Stanley Events are seeking to additional funding to sustain the biggest annual event in Stanley and continue to
