Elect Jane Whild as Women's Equality Party Councillor for Campbell Park & Old Woughton
My name is Jane Whild and I am standing to be a local councillor for the Campbell Park & Old Woughton Ward on 2 May.
It’s time for change. Together you, the Women’s Equality Party and I can make a change for the better. Just a few pounds from you will help us do more. £20 will buy a banner, £50 will allow me to run social media adverts, while £100 will print enough leaflets for every household in the ward.
To achieve equality:
Diversity in committees and groups leads to fairer decisions and more equal outcomes. If I get elected, I would trail-blaze for more diverse women to join me on our Council, improving representation for everyone.
Big parties have big money; they make big promises, but do they deliver those promises?
Austerity has been bad for women, and Brexit will hit vulnerable women harder. Now is the time to do things differently. Help elect me so I can push the Council to engage more with voluntary agencies and residents, and fight for long-term assured funding for the services that support women and families.
Just a few pounds from you can make a big difference. The more we raise, the more people I can reach, and the more I can improve representation for you and the residents of Milton Keynes.
The Women’s Equality Party believes in equality for everyone, so please support me, no matter how small your donation.
