Target reached!

The more we raise, the more voters we can reach with our campaign material.

Aim

We are standing in the local elections in May because only one third of councillors in Sheffield are women. This isn't good enough!

Imagine if Sheffield, the birthplace of the UK’s first women’s suffrage organisation, the Sheffield Women’s Political Association, elected the first Women’s Equality Party representative.

WE are a small team of volunteers and we need your help to do this.  This year WE are standing a candidate in Ecclesall Ward and we are fundraising so that we can reach as many voters as possible in this part of Sheffield.

£10 will pay for a day of social media advertising,  £50 will print 2,500 leaflets, £100 will pay for 1,000 leaflets to be delivered.

As well as standing in elections, the Sheffield branch is campaigning locally to end violence against women and girls and has teamed up with other organisations to bring you the Know The Line campaign on sexual harassment.  We have a local gender pay gap campaign and we are pushing for Sheffield City Council to adopt a nil cap sexual entertainment policy amongst other things.

The Women's Equality Party is pushing for equal representation in politics, business, industry and throughout working life.  WE are a new collaborative force in British politics.  WE are doing things differently.

Please donate to help us to reach as many voters as possible.
