We are a team of dedicated volunteers and fund raisers - British and Ukrainian actively working every day to transport desperately needed medical and surgical supplies to specific hospitals deep within the war zone.There is a critical and desperate need for surgical supplies for the daily casualties in Kharkiv, Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine which are under relentless attack.
I am working from Brockweir, Wye Valley closely with our friends, two Consultants based in near by Bristol, one who specialises in Infectious Diseases & Tropical Medicine and another is the Reconstructive Surgeon in Bristol, who has previously worked for Medicins Sans Frontiers and as a War Surgeon for the International Committee of the Red Cross. With their enormous efforts and hard work we continue to supply desperately needed medical supplies where most critical. Time is running out.
I am Ukrainian and a British national having moved to England in 1992. I grew up in Ukraine under the rule of Soviet Union and my mother still lives in Lviv along with my family and life long fiends in Lviv, Kyiv and other parts of our beautiful country. I visit home very regularly to see them all . This has now all been taken away from me and my daughter as with so very many of my fellow Ukrainians. We all feel so helpless but we still can make a difference ensuring we get medical supplies to exactly where they are needed most.
We are raising money to fund ongoing shipments of these supplies, the first of left from Bristol 7/03/22 and totalled over £75,000 of cost price supplies. We track and monitor the supplies all the way and keep you regularly updated on the progress and the safe delivery to the hospitals in Ukraine.
I speak with the hospital and the lead surgeon there regularly and they are so very desperate for these supplies - they had staff previously making their own bandages. We have now been contacted by other hospitals needing our direct approach using Ukrainian drivers with local knowledge and intel.
This appeal is different because we will make sure you know what happens and the difference you make- we follow and report on the progress of the shipments. We target hospitals most in need and our drivers risk their lives ensuring the supplies are delivered. But we still need your help right now.
The Surgeon in Ukraine stated " if you can't do this- please don't give us hope because we are running out of that as well".
