Stage Tynemouth - Youth Theatre fundraiser

Established in 2005, Christina Berriman Dawson has created a welcoming, caring space where not just talent but individuals are nurtured. Predominately drama and dance, pupils have the opportunity to experience many elements of theatre. This cumulates in a small winter presentation and large-scale production in a local venue.  

We cater for Ages 5 to 18 through two 2 hour classes: Juniors and Seniors:

Juniors: 12:30 - 2:30 pm

Seniors: 2:30 - 4:30 pm

Professional actress and Theatre Maker Christina provides authentic training for young people with fun and love at the heart. She is backed by a team of industry experts who deliver dance, music, filmmaking and much more. There are opportunities to be forwarded for work and bespoke and exclusive, external artistic projects.

After many years building a robust community the COVID Pandemic and now ongoing rising costs have for the first time in 18 years put that at risk. Our savings pot for production costs has been eaten away over the past 2 years in order to sustain.

With the cost of living crisis in mind , increasing fees isn’t an option for many of our families budgets. We have never asked for ‘show fees’ etc which other schools do and never add additional costs to families

We ask that if you are in a position to do so, to give what you can to our crowd funder so we can secure a venue for our end of year production and our ongoing, increasing costs of our home venue.

this small injection of funds will get us back on track after what has been a bumpy few years.
